Cancellation policy: In-house courses

Cancellation/rescheduling of bookings

Booking is binding and when you have received our confirmation the following conditions are known and accepted.

All cancellations/reschedules must be communicated with and confirmed by us.

Cancellations/reschedules received less than 30 calendar days before course start are charged with 50% of the price + non-refundable travel costs..

Cancellations/reschedules received less than 14 calendar days before course start are charged with 100% of the price + non-refundable travel costs.

Invoicing

We normally invoice the course directly after completion. Payment terms 30 days net. If not otherwise agreed, the travel cost are invoiced as the actual cost plus an environmental fee, as well as the number of certificates, tests and excess number of participants.

Course certificates

If you have ordered certificates of attendance, we need a participant list.

NOTE. The list may not be handwritten. For the prevention of misspelled names, we prefer to get the names in a computer file (e.g. Word or Excel).

The PDF certificates are delivered by email as a single file for you to distribute to the participants.

In accordance with our procedures for managing and protecting personal data, we save participant information for 5 years after the course date. Should you have lost your certificate, we can recreate it for an administrative fee of 15 Euro.

This is only applicable if individual certificates were included in the order and the name must be on our archived attendance list.

If you wish to order a certificate on behalf of another person, we require some form of request from the person concerned due to our integrity policy.

Online verification tests

The test result will be sent to the participant by email immediately after the test. Your course administrator can get copies of the result upon request. Note. To the integrity of the test, we are only reporting the result, never the questions or answers.

If you have ordered certificates and the participant passed the test, this will be mentioned on the certificate.

Cancellation policy: Public courses

Cancellation of registration

Registration is binding and when you have received our confirmation the following conditions are known and accepted. If you for any reason is unable to attend, substitution is always possible and preferred.

All cancellations and/or substitutions must have been communicated with and confirmed by us.

Normal courses

Cancellations received less than 30 calendar days before course start are subjected to a service charge of 150 € (Euro)/registered course day as compensation for additional administrative burden and for non refundable part of the conference reservation.

Cancellations received less than 14 calendar days prior the course, or failure to cancel or “no-show”, will be charged in full.

On-line Webinars

Cancellations received less than 7 days before the webinar will be charged 50% of the course fee.

Cancellations received less than 24h before the webinar will be charged 100% of the course fee.

Cancellation of courses

Courses may be cancelled by the organizer if bookings fail to reach minimum numbers (normally not later than 30 days prior the course start), or due to other reasons beyond our control. In such circumstances charged course fees will be refunded, credited, or granted to attend another course for the same value.

NOTE! Key2Compliance AB is NOT responsible or liable to any costs in conjunction with a cancelled course. If you need to book flights way ahead (+30 days prior the course) check with us before finalizing the purchase of flights and/or hotel accommodation for an update on the registration situation.

Confirmation of course registration

A confirmation will be sent to the participant within 1 week after registration.

Prices

For courses more than 6 months in the future, we reserve the right to adjust the prices.

Course certificates

After the course, the attendees will get an e-mail with a certificate of attendance (PDF).

This is fully applicable to participants at public courses.
For in-house courses, it is only applicable if individual certificates were included in the order.

For all cases, your name must be on our archived attendance list.

Invoice or Credit Card payment

We offer 2 alternatives for payments:

1. Invoice with payment via bank wire transfer (30 days net)

NOTE. We do not accept checks, only wire transfer (IBAN/SWIFT)

2. Stripe, Inc. Credit card payment at webshop checkout or with secure payment link via e-mail

(VISA, Mastercard)

VAT (Value Added Tax) for courses in the EU

Due to EU Directive 2006/112/EC all participants must pay local VAT where the course is taking place. (See also: Council Implementing Regulation (EU) No 282/2011).
Therefore local VAT is added on our invoices.

All registered EU and non-EU companies have the right to apply for a refund of the charged VAT.

EU companies – contact your local tax authority to register (probably already the case) and to receive information and abilities to handle this electronically.

Non ‐ EU companies – have to file this refund application in the country where the course took place:

Accommodation

Hotel accommodation is not included in the course fee.
It is the participants own responsibility to book accommodation if needed.

If you make a reservation at a Scandic Hotel, specify our booking code D000030870 to get a discount.

Terms and Conditions – Literature, games and posters

These terms (the “Terms and Conditions”) apply to purchases at Key2Compliance AB

General

Key2Compliance AB sells books, games and teaching aids in various formats via the Internet to its customers (“Customer”) in Sweden and other countries, preferably within Europe. Customers can be either a private person over the age of eighteen (18) years (“Private Customer”) or companies, organizations and public institutions (all called “Corporate Customer”). Sales take place via the website https://www.key2compliance.com, or according to an individually signed agreement.

By completing an order in the above channels, registering for an account with Key2Compliance AB or by signing an agreement as above, the Customer accepts the Terms and Conditions.

Key2Compliance AB reserves the right to make errors in product information or otherwise on the Website.

Prices

Prices are given excluding value-added tax (VAT), freight and applicable handling costs. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Currency

All prices are in in Euro.

Payment

Choose your method of payment at checkout.

Payment by invoice (only accepted for companies)
If you choose invoice payment, we will send an invoice to your billing address.

Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.

Payment by credit card

At the checkout, you can choose to pay with a Visa or MasterCard using our secure online service. Your payment will be handled by Stripe, Inc.. Your card information is sent directly to the bank and cannot be read by third parties. There are no additional fees for credit card payments.

Cost of shipping and VAT

The cost of freight, VAT and applicable customs handling is included in the final amount at the checkout point. Customers within the European Union who provide a valid VAT registration number, as well as customers in countries outside the EU are exempt from VAT.

VAT is charged for all other customers.

Terms of freight

Orders that weigh less than two kilos (4.4 lbs.), is sent by mail service or TNT Economy Express. Make your choice at checkout. Orders over 2 kg is sent by TNT Economy Express. An order is normally delivered within 2-3 working days. if we got the product(s) on stock.
