We are delighted to welcome Anders Jeppsson as our new Director of Sales at GBA Key2Compliance. With over two decades of experience in the Life Science market, Anders brings a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to our team. During his first week, we had the opportunity to sit down with Anders and ask him about his professional journey as well as some fun, personal questions. We’re excited for you to get to know him better through this interview and learn more about what drives him both professionally and personally.
Can you share your career journey and what led you to GBA Key2Compliance?
I have more than 20 years of experience within the Life Science market, where I have worked with customers throughout the entire chain – from R&D to Market access. I started by selling chemical analysis equipment and software to laboratories for about 10 years, then advanced further into leading positions offering engineering and consulting services to Pharma, Biotech and Medical Device companies.
What excites you about your role as Director of Sales?
GBA Key2Compliance is a full-service provider in a market that I am quite familiar with, and the company is in a stage where both growth and, of course, profitability is key. I also love to be in a context where I can inspire and advise both clients and colleagues on how to be successful in future challenges.
How do you plan to drive growth at GBA Key2Compliance?
The simple answer is with engaged co-workers and happy customers. However, a bit of structure, customer focus, and a business mindset will also be needed.
What are you most excited about in joining GBA Key2Compliance?
– A skilled company with a strong offering and great people.
– Growth and business development are high on the agenda.
– Being part of global Life Science group (GBA Group).
How do you see the market evolving in the next few years?
In general, the Life Science market appears to be quite stable, even in periods of recession. The Medical Technology market is huge and growing, with around 2 million Medical Technology products and more than 37,000 Medical Technology companies, in Europe alone. The fact that compliance, risk management and efficiency will be on the agenda for both Pharmaceutical and Medical device companies even in the future makes me positive about “our” market as well.
What would you be doing if you weren’t working in sales at GBA Key2Compliance?
I would probably be working for a similar company where consultants can create long-term value for their clients and where I can add value to the organization. Or perhaps be playing more golf 😊
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
Yes, though very hidden! I play the trumpet—right now it’s only once a year at Midsummer Eve, but I’d love to play more in the future.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
I think Astrid Lindgren said it well through Pippi. Something like “This I have never tried so for sure I will make it”.
