About the role

As the Director of Sales, you will play an important role in driving sales effectiveness, optimizing processes, and implementing strategies to strengthen our sales, relationship building and commercial impact across our organization. The role will have international coverage and you will have responsibility for developing our approach in working with our increasing group of clients.

About you

We believe that you have a successful and proven track record of B2B sales, with both experience and knowledge of the life science industry. You are an effective leader with a passion for customer relations and daily customer meetings. You are eager to inspire, develop and train our sales team, and share your experience of sales processes and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and implement our sales processes, methodology, tools and structures to drive sales and profitability growth and achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with our Directors for our six Business Areas. (Medical Device QA, Regulatory, Biological Safety, Clinical Development/Med Tech CRO, Pharma QA and Training & Courses).
  • Further develop our approach to working with Key Account Management
  • Set performance metrics, analyze sales data and metrics to track performance, win/loss reviews, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Development and training to enhance capabilities of sales resources across the company.
  • You will be part of the Leadership Team and you are expected to have a tight cooperation with our Director of Marketing

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, your qualifications should be:

  • Experience of the Life Science industry, preferably both Medical Device and Pharmaceuticals, and a solid understanding of the Regulatory development process for both Medical Device and Pharmaceuticals
  • A proven track record of success in B2B sales leadership roles in Life Science, with experience in driving sales
  • Understand the product development process, and the situation small and mid-size Life Science Companies find themselves in
  • Experience from B2B services sales
  • A strong understanding of sales methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Effective leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • You need to love meeting clients daily and not have any problems travelling across Europe.
  • Excellent written and spoken Swedish and English language skills are required, knowledge in Danish and /or German is a plus
